Hi everyone.
New Year, new resolutions. . . to try and do something about my covert stutter. This is the first time I've ever gone public about it (other than to a doctor 25 years ago, and he was not much help).
I'm OK on the phone, not too bad at work, mostly good with family and friends, but hopeless with interviews and in difficult meetings. Giving presentations? Forget it.
I almost passed out with panic at almost being asked to take part in a presentation at work, but managed to avoid it.
It frightened me how frightened I was!
So it's time to get help. . . I think. . .
