Well I was playing football today and at one point I got caught in two minds whether to pass the ball or to shoot, as a result I stalled, and got the ball taken away from me.
Afterwards my friend said im too "indecisive" and reflecting back that situation playing football relates to stammering in the sense that we stall on our words and thus stutter.
Now ive always known im an indecisive person, for example if im at the supermarket I will take a very long time to choose between 2 brands of the same product. Or if im to choose between going somewhere by train or bus, I will keep changing my mind until the very last moment.
Maybe I am over analysing but do you think this has to do with stuttering? Perhaps mentally I am accustomed to being indecisive and therefore I am indecisive in my speech?
Does anybody else consider themselves to be "indecisive"?

I don't think I am indecisive, but sometimes I do have trouble making up my mind on what to do in situations. Wheather to do this or that. But I don't think I am indecisive on what I want to say.I am usualy sure on what I want to say at the moment, so I don't think being indecisive in my speech makes me stutter. Perhaps, if I am unsure of what I want to say, I will hesitate on what I would like to say.

Sorry about the above post - somebody had to do it, and it may as well be me!
I think that being indecisive can be related to a lack of confidence - ie a lack of confidence in one's ability to make a correct decision.
I now make up my mind quite quickly about minor things in life - as you mention, shopping - things like that.
Bigger decisions in life, I like to research and then make an informed decision.
So, I have learned to stop dittering and faffing about and just get on with decisions. And right or wrong, just learn to live with them.

I'm ok with small decisions like my life long career choice.
But i can be indecisive on important matters like what flavour milkshake strawberry or banana.... and then theres vanilla.... ahhh frustrating.

I can make many decisions every day, but the big important ones that puts me in the spot light. Once i am in the spot light, people will know i stutter. I still have many issues i need to resolve.

Yes, definitely.

My indeciciveness equals fear of making a mistake. What if I'm wrong? Am I good enough?
I readily forgive others their mistakes, yet am loath to forgive myself. EFT helps here, but there are times when I just don't feel deserving of forgiveness and can't bring myself to tap to remove the guilt.
By paying attention, it becomes clear how I undermine my self-esteem.
So much self knowledge from a little prevarication.

a little prevarication.
From Wiktionary,
prevaricate - to knowingly lie by evasiveness or quibbling secretive or sneaky banter meant to conceal truth

prevarication.

Wouldn't that be the other way around?! Choosing a milkshake flavor seems a lot less important than deciding on a career choice.
Choosing a career choice no doubt takes lot's of planning, and of course decision makng.
But I do like the humor in your post!
