Visit a stuttering support group without leaving home ?
There are local support groups for those who stutter in many cities. Typically, these are group meetings that are held weekly or monthly. A support group is a wonderful place to feel that your stuttering is accepted and supported. It is also a time to feel relaxed and a time to feel like speaking freely. Some of the many benefits of attending a local support group include help with therapy carryover, self-help programs, coping, public speaking, job interviews, self-advocacy, self expression, and comfort, just to name a few.
Stutter Radio is a weekly commercial-free live radio program for those who stutter that's broadcast live SATURDAYS at 9 AM ET. You can listen, you can call-in, or you can use "chat" to write comments and ask questions. The first broadcast is Saturday, February 9 at 9 AM ET. Join us at www.BlogTalkRadio.com/stutterradio
