Need help with posting picture [Archive]

I've been trying to post a picture in my profile but I get the message that it says it's too big. Then I see a note below that says that the maximum size is 100 by 100 pixels or 64.0 KB. Can anyone help me out by telling me how to make it smaller?

Edit: nvm, sorry for making this thread. I figured it out, but it's so small you can't even see anything and I have to be online for other people to even see it. Is there any way to delete this thread?

I've also discovered something else.

If a person uploads a picture from his/her computer to their profile, then for you to see his/her profile picture, (1) he/she must be online and (2) you must be logged in to the forum......I think.

Not sure, how it works if you decide not to upload the pic, but to use a url address for the profile pic instead. I'm thinking if you use a url address for the pic then anyone can see the pic anytime.....but then again, I don't know and I might be wrong. I'll update if I do find out any more info.
