Anybody advise me on this?

Just had a phone call from some company saying that I can legally break off from my broadband contract with BT, and get free broadband, and free Voice over Internet(?).

Can anybody clarify things for me before the guy comes round tomorrow?

I have never heard of that offer here in my neck of the woods. Best advice, read the "contract" (if any), google the company's name, and (if you have it in your end of the world) check with the Better Business Bureau (BBB) - or its equivalent - for the business standing.

I would be very skeptical of any one person, company, or organization that offers any type of free service . . . Nothing is free . . . Not even freedom!!!

Well, I've now had 3 telecom companies on the phone saying "They will be in my area tomorrow and can they arrange an appointment to show you how much money they can save you".

They are all coming tomorrow, and I've left the times open.

Sometimes these companies need their own time wasted to make a point......
