Does anyone take medication to sleep ?

Hello this may sound mad but ive been taking medication ,prescribed off the doctor for sleeping and its helped calm me down aswell????
Ive only used it for a short period but the results with having a good nights sleep and felling relaxed have been good .

No, I can fall asleep at a drop of a hat. I get sore neck and shoulders and sometimes headaches, because the way I sleep. I can fall asleep sitting in a chair if I don't fall off first. I don't know how kids can do it, they can fall asleep in any position and wake up not sore at all.

To be honest ive been a bad sleeper most my life ,feeling up tight and anxious ,going to sleep at 10pm and waking at 3am ????????
Whats your speech like at the moment m8 is its quite fluent or severe and where in the world are you from ????

I'm from Canada, Edmonton to be exact. I was pretty severe once, couldn't put two or three words together without blocking. I'm pretty moderate now, some days I don't notice my stutter at all, I can even fool you. I do wake up once or twice during the night, after the wife puts me on the couch and it is very uncormfortable. We got a real soft bed and I sleep very well on that.

Nope. I usually go to sleep between 11:30 and midnight every day. For the past two weeks I've been on a different schedule at work so I wake up at 6:00 am. Before the change of schedule I used to wake up at 4:30 am (but still went to sleep at midnight). I've been doing this for quite a few years since I've been in the armed forces for 22 years and PT (physical training) has always been at 0-dark-thirty.

The only thing I have taken for my sleep is calms and that was only once when my son was going into hospital for an operation on his eye and they had to put him under, god it was so bad.
As a rule I am a pretty bad sleeper and toss and turn a couple of times in the night, also if I dont relax at the end of the day I am thinking about work and can suddenly wake up and think of a solution or problem.
I used to sleepwalk badly when I was younger (long time ago) but still do it on occasions.

My speech at the moment is OK, had a bad period last few weeks but hopefully getting over it now.

I've never taken anything to help me sleep. If I can't get to sleep, then I find a cool shower to be very effective. It stimulates the nerves, and relaxes the brain and body. And makes getting back into bed great!
Also to be recommended after watching one of standingtalldon'tcareifIauditionmenorwomen's movies.........
