Hi..I am a 21 years old - university student. I had stuttering problem since I was 6 years old. Now, I really need help since I don't know how I can think another thing than my problem and not wasting my days, and years. I can not concentrate on my courses. I almost hate to talk, thus I can not develop my friendships. I put myself alone in a corner, even there are people who want to talk with me.
My big problem is, my twitchings appear when talking. Namely, my stuttering is not just repeating words, or waiting to say a word. This makes my stuttering much complex, because my tongue curls, is twisted, when I try to say even one word. This obstructs me from from developing my talking. How I prevent and forget these twitchings which have developed because of stuttering? My development of talking depends on this issue.
Sometimes I am forcing my tongue to behave normally, and I succeed for a few words, but then when I get caught by stuttering so much that I can not resist the twitchings any more. Also the ugly and unpleasant appearance of my tongue really hurts me, so that it takes off all of my bravery. So, I am alone. I would be happy if any one can suggest any thing about this subject.
Thanks,
bye bye..
